Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working in an environment that fosters, nurtures and stimulates children. This role requires excellent communication skills. The Early Years Practitioner will play a crucial role in supporting children's development and learning through engaging activities and positive interactions. This role involves working with children aged 0-3 only and any successful candidate will be required to complete and enhanced DBS check.
The role will be a part time role until the Summer holidays and then will increase to full-time. The role will not be term time only and the successful candidate will be expected to be available all year round.
Responsibilities
* Love, attention and nurturing
* Demonstrate good practice
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
* Demonstrate good practice with regards to special needs and inclusion
* Support the continuous improvement and quality of children and education within the nursery
* Plan and prepare daily activities
* Work in partnership with parents and carers
* Observe and support children's learning and development following the EYFS Framework
* Maintain accurate records
Qualifications
* Minimum Level 3 Early Years Qualification with experience is essential
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development
* Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a positive attitude
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
