Quantity Surveyor – Commercial Flooring

The Opportunity
Our client is a well-established specialist commercial flooring contractor, delivering soft flooring, tiling, and screeding packages across a range of commercial construction projects. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.
The Role
This is an office-based Quantity Surveyor role, responsible for the commercial management of live commercial flooring projects, working closely with Contracts Managers and Directors to ensure accurate cost control, reporting, and margin protection.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial management of flooring, tiling, and screeding packages on commercial projects
Preparing and managing budgets, valuations, and final accounts
Producing CVRs and cost forecasts
Managing variations and change control
Supporting procurement and subcontractor accounts
Reviewing scopes, programmes, and commercial risk
Liaising with site teams and senior managementAbout the Candidate
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within flooring, tiling, screeding, or joinery
Strong post-contract commercial experience
Commercially confident with strong attention to detail
Comfortable working in an office-based role
Strong communication and reporting skills
