Description The role of a uonsport.tv ambassador is to raise the profile of University of Nottingham Sport and the wider University brand through the delivery of our brand new uonsport.tv live streaming platform. It’s a fantastic opportunity to gain real marketing and communications experience, focussed on the delivery of live match days, and contribute to the ambitious vision of the UoN Sport department. Start Date: September 2025 (ideally w/c 15 September 2025) End Date: June 2026 Working Hours: 6 hours per week Pay Rate: £13.12 per hour plus holiday pay Location: David Ross Sports Village, University Park Dress Code: Smart casual, branded sports kit will be provided Supported by the Sports Marketing and Communications Manager, the duties will include: Deliver our programme of live streamed content via uonsport.tv for our British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) competitive schedule as well as other key sporting events such as Varsity and Headliner. Lead on setting up live streams, manning cameras during games, updating scoreboards and ensuring all streams maintain our high-quality standards. Organise and co-ordinate commentators from sports clubs to support live events. Provide support to sports clubs streaming via the uonsport.tv platform. Create quality digital assets to promote and enhance our live streamed content. Help shape marketing campaigns targeted to students, related to uonsport.tv. Provide additional capacity at key department events such as Open Days and Welcome. Skills and experience required for the role: Candidates must be studying at the University of Nottingham for the full 2025/26 academic year. Passionate about live sport. Knowledge of University of Nottingham Sport, particularly our competitive sport offer. Previous live streaming experience would be an advantage but not compulsory – full training will be provided. Basic editing skills (Adobe Photoshop) would be an advantage but not compulsory – full training will be provided.
