Support Worker
Gayton Road- supports 6 adults in a supported living service. Service users have learning disabilities and mental health. Service users are very active and take part in the local community accessing college courses and day services. Service users very motivated to want to do activities and want fun loving support staff who want to be busy trying new activities with them. Experience not essential, working as part of a team on site who can support and develop new staff.

Full Time 30 hours per week including Weekends
Overtime will be available and occasional sleep ins where required

We are providing individuals with practical and emotional care, enabling them to lead as ordinary life as they can achieve. To help them achieve this you will need to be flexible as you are required to work shifts including bank holidays, weekends and potential sleep ins.
To participate in the day to day implementation of individual support plans and activities within a challenging environment.
To support service users with the preparation of Meals, Laundry duties, cleaning and social events.
To work as part of a team to provide high quality care.
Diploma in Health and Social Care or be willing to work towards one.
Experience in supporting adults with challenging behaviour, learning disabilities and/or mental health issues.
The confidence to work alone or as part of a team.
The passion to work with vulnerable adults
The desire and commitment to achieve high standards of safeguarding.
