The Head of Skills is a member of the Senior Leadership Team within Student Opportunity which brings together much of the University’s co-curricular provision. The role provides leadership to an award-winning group of staff delivering programmes which enjoy high engagement with students and a strong reputation with academic staff. The Head of Skills works with their peer group to ensure strong collaborative planning and delivery across all areas of provision and alignment with institutional strategy.

About You
You will be an experienced and respected HE practitioner, recognised for your expertise and well-networked within the national HE sector. You will have a strong commitment to student development and co-creation with students to further the student experience. You will have a strong track record as a team leader with flair for motivating, managing and developing team members. You will be adept at working within varied academic environments and collaborating across an institution to design and develop services, ensuring through design that target student groups are reached and impacted positively by your work.
