Join Our Respiratory Physiology Team – Make a Real Difference! Are you a motivated and dynamic individual looking to take the next step in your healthcare career? Our friendly and supportive Respiratory Physiology team at thePreston Community Diagnostic Hub is expanding – and we’d love to hear from you!

In this exciting role, you’ll work alongside experienced Physiologists to support the diagnostic pathway for patients referred for lung function assessment. You’ll be part of a team that’s passionate about delivering high-quality care and improving patient outcomes within the Trust.


What we’re looking for:

* Ideally, 12 months’ experience in an acute healthcare setting
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise workload

Responsibilities

In this varied and hands-on role, you’ll be involved in planning and performing a range of diagnostic assessments that are vital to patient diagnosis and treatment. You’ll also carry out initial interpretations, helping to shape clinical decisions.

Your day-to-day will include:

* Spirometry and bronchodilator reversibility testing
* Exhaled nitric oxide and impulse oscillometry (IOS)
* Full pulmonary function testing
* 6-minute walk tests


Supporting Sleep & CPAP Services

You’ll work closely with our sleep physiologists to assist long-term patients in managing their therapy, offering guidance and care that makes a real difference to their quality of life.


Team Support & Development

You’ll also play a key role in supporting fellow staff and students, helping them grow and thrive in their roles. Your input will contribute to a positive learning environment and a high-performing team.

What you’ll be doing:
