Overview
* Prepare structural and drainage designs with supporting calculations for new build and renovation projects
* Carry out structural inspections, report on defects, and recommend remedial works
* Conduct site visits and attend design team meetings to monitor progress and address technical queries
* Develop UK residential drainage designs in accordance with current standards and regulations
* Liaise with architects, contractors, and clients to deliver design solutions that meet project requirements
* Ensure compliance with building regulations and relevant standards across all design work
* Assist in the preparation of design reports, planning documents, and project specifications
* Provide technical support and mentorship to junior team members
Salary & Benefits
* Salary: £35,000 – £43,000

Requirements
* A relevant degree (BSc or equivalent) within Civil or Structural Engineering
* Minimum of 2 years of professional experience, preferably in the residential sector
* A proven track record of producing structural designs and supporting calculations
* Experience of Tekla Tedds and AutoCAD
* A desire to work towards ICE or IStructE chartered status
* Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage projects and deliver client satisfaction
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
