Responsibilities
The role will have operational and strategic responsibility for 5 teams, including the 3 locality teams, a review team and a forensic team. It will oversee assessment functions under the Care Act, MCA, MHA, Human Rights legal frameworks and liaise with provider networks and external partners to align with user needs.
Qualifications
Recognised qualification in Social Work and registration with Social Work England. Experience leading learning disability services and strong compassionate leadership skills. Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners and commitment to trauma-informed, strength-based approaches.
