Base pay range
The role: As a Trainer at Avanti Homecare, you will be an integral part of the Head Office management team. You will be based in our Head Office in Long Eaton and will travel between branches (Ilkeston and Ripley) to deliver training. This is a full-time on-site position (37.5 hours per week); there is an option to work from home occasionally when the training calendar allows. Start date as soon as possible.

Responsibilities
* Provide high quality, engaging and informative training sessions in classroom or field settings
* Support onboarding and induction training for new staff as required
* Adapt training to suit a wide range of learning styles and needs
* Track all mandatory employee training and ensure it is up-to-date
* Maintain CPD and ensure knowledge, training and qualifications align with CQC requirements
* Foster a positive and supportive working environment
* Take on additional administrative duties to support other departments as required
What you will need
* Essential:
o Two years of experience in teaching, training or leading learning (e.g., teacher, trainer or instructor)
o Experience making learning engaging using different techniques for various styles
o Excellent organisational and communication skills
o Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
* Desirable:
o Experience or knowledge of Health & Social Care (training provided if from a teaching background)
o An accredited training qualification (e.g., Level 3 Award in Education and Training or equivalent)
o An understanding of CQC inspection processes
