Overview
Turners (Soham) Ltd is seeking to recruit a Dayshift Receipt Clerk in the Coldstore department based at our Newmarket depot. With the full support of our friendly Coldstore Office, you can expect to gain a good understanding of the warehouse supply chain procedures and improve your skills within the department and company.
Salary
Salary: £30,466.80 per annum + Overtime. All breaks paid.
Shift pattern
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 9 hours per day.
Responsibilities
* Overseeing the allocating of 3rd party and Turner’s vehicles to bays for tipping.
* Communications and leasing with Stock office, Yard shunter (trailer movement on and off bays) and all departmental areas.
* Tipping and receipting of stock from trailers and monitoring yard trailer activity using in house systems.
* Checking stock for any non-conforming issues and raising ISN’s (Inbound standard notifications).
* Use of WMS (Warehouse Management System), full training will be provided.
* Other clerical duties within operational areas, and support to shift supervisor.
