Kent is looking for a Senior Piping and Layout Engineer to join our multidisciplinary Engineering team based in Woking. The duration is for 6 months with a possibility of extension.
Scope of Work:
* Assist in the development of layout concepts and supporting sketches.
* Originate site plan and unit plot plans in accordance with project requirements.
* Prepare layout and utility plan (LUP) sketches to support design development.
* Develop and issue 3D model CAD design instructions for implementation.
* Coordinate piping designers within the designated area or unit to ensure consistency and progress.
* Organize and lead 3D model reviews, ensuring all review comments are addressed and closed.
* Facilitate cross-discipline coordination for the designated area or unit to resolve interfaces and ensure alignment.
Key Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering and significant experience in working in relevant industry sectors
* Exposure to Pipe Materials consultancy, Pre-FEED / FEED/ detailed engineering design and EPC projects
* In depth knowledge of applicable international and industry specifications, standards, and codes
* Knowledge of safety and quality procedures and best practice
* Specialist/high competency in specific areas of Piping Material engineering
* Global work share coordination and management experience
* Excellent coordination, monitoring and supervisory skills. Excellent communication skills
* Tactful in resolving issues.
* Alertness and attention to detail.
