The Cedars in Stoke on Trent is looking for a dedicated and motivated Deputy Home Manager to help lead the delivery of high quality care for older people within a welcoming and professional care home setting.

The Role
As Deputy Home Manager, you will support the effective day to day running of the home and help ensure the highest standards of care, safety, and compliance are consistently delivered.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Supporting and leading care teams across the home
2. Ensuring residents receive exceptional person centred care
3. Conducting audits, inspections, and quality checks
4. Supporting safeguarding procedures and maintaining compliance standards
5. Assisting with staff supervision, guidance, and performance management
6. Helping create a positive and supportive environment for residents and colleagues
7. Maintaining accurate care documentation and high attention to detail
What We Are Looking For
8. Experience working within a care setting
9. Previous leadership or supervisory experience
10. Strong understanding of the needs of older people
11. Knowledge of safeguarding vulnerable adults
12. Excellent communication and organisational skills
13. A customer focused and compassionate approach
14. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality care
15. Ability to lead by example and support a high performing team

The Cedars in Stoke-on-Trent is home to well trained and helpful staff with rooms for up to 42 residents.
