Position: Quality Technician
Location: Farlough Road, Dungannon
Reporting to: Quality Manager
Hours of work: 39 ¾ hours
About the Job
Working with the Quality Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for Quality inspection, reporting, control for finished machines and sub-assemblies manufactured by Terex Farlough and its’ sub-contract partners.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
1. Final run and test of machines.
2. PDI report out meetings
3. PDI reports and other associated paperwork
4. Internal auditing
5. Routine inspection of internally fabricated parts.
6. Actively address quality concerns on a day to day basis
7. Control & issue of serial plates for final machine.
8. Responsibility to escalate any on-going issues.
9. Dispatch record data updated to pulse – engine, serial number, DR’s etc.
10. Showing dealers and suppliers around machines when required
11. Supporting in quality investigations as required
Experience & Qualifications:
Essential Criteria
12. Basic computer skills
13. Good team work and communication skills
14. Good awareness of health and safety
15. Ability to create clear hand written reports
Desirable Criteria
16. Experience in a similar role highly desirable
17. Knowledge of Terex machines
18. Experience in continuous improvement
19. Electrical experience
20. Hydraulic experience
