We have an exciting opportunity for a Psychosocial Team Lead to join the Substance Misuse team at HMP Winchester, a category B/C Prison located in Winchester.
HMP Winchester is a male remand prison with a capacity for 706 inmates.
Hours
Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:00
Salary
This position is full time; you’ll receive an annual salary up to £42,000 per annum FTE, depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
As a Psychosocial Team Lead, your responsibilities will vary. You will:
* Lead and direct the provision of Integrated Substance Misuse PSI services within the HMP or Immigration Removal site, ensuring that treatment approaches and interventions are appropriate, innovative and fully meet the needs of service users, the organisation and commissioners.
* Provide and assist the SMS Service Manager in leading on the implementation and continuous development of Practice Plus Group Services within the Locality.
* Assist in the preparation of Practice Plus Group Business Plans for the management and development of prison service delivery.
* Deliver and ensure service aims, objectives and business plans are in place and reflected in individual staff appraisals and supervision.
* Develop and manage the Psychosocial Interventions Service within Practice Plus Group prison services.

Required qualifications and experience
* Good general standard of education to NVQ level 5 or equivalent, with experience of working within a secure setting and substance misuse
* Experience of management and leadership
* Experience of complex report writing and data collection, analysis and presentation
* Experience of setting and managing budgets and of risk management
* Knowledge of DANOS
