An established and expanding accountancy firm in North East Oxfordshire is looking for a skilled Audit & Accounts Manager to join their team. This is a key leadership role, offering the opportunity to manage a varied client portfolio, lead audit assignments, and help shape the future of the practice.
What youll be doing Youll take ownership of a broad range of audit and accounts assignments, guiding clients across multiple sectors. Youll oversee project delivery, support junior team members, and play an active part in business development and client retention.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing audit engagements from planning through to completion
* Reviewing financial statements and ensuring compliance with UK GAAP and IFRS
* Leading and mentoring a team of auditors and accountants
* Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, providing clear and commercial guidance
* Identifying opportunities to grow services and streamline processes
* Working closely with partners to support the firms long-term growth
