As they expand their national footprint with a brand-new office in London, they're looking for an experienced Network Engineer with ISP expertise to join their technical team and play a vital role in scaling their infrastructure and supporting client networks.We're seeking a Network Engineer with a strong background in ISP environments, capable of owning, building, and supporting complex network infrastructure. This is a hybrid role based in London, offering a blend of on-site project work, remote delivery, and collaboration with their teams in Exeter and Manchester.You'll work closely with executive-level stakeholders, help shape the network strategy, and contribute to the design and support of their core and customer networks.Key Responsibilities*Design, deploy, and manage ISP-grade network infrastructure (routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing).*Configure and support BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and VLANs across multi-tenant environments.*Monitor and optimise network performance, ensuring availability and scalability.*Troubleshoot and resolve complex networking issues with minimal downtime.*Assist in network automation and documentation.*Provide input on strategic network upgrades and vendor selection.*Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver bespoke networking solutions.*Work on the rollout and support of our London office network infrastructure.Key Requirements*Proven experience as a Network Engineer in an ISP or MSP environment.*Strong knowledge of networking protocols: BGP, OSPF, MPLS, DNS, DHCP.*Hands-on experience with Juniper, Cisco, MikroTik, Ubiquiti, or similar enterprise vendors.*Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, and network security principles.*Ability to create and maintain technical documentation and network diagrams.*Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.Nice to Have*Experience with network automation (Python, Ansible, etc.)*Certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, or equivalent*Knowledge of IPv6, RIPE, or Peering platformsWhat We Offer*Competitive salary up to £60,000*Hybrid working with flexibility*Regular work-based socials and team-building activities*Free lunch Fridays*Close collaboration with senior leadership and decision-makers*A fun, ambitious, and fast-paced environment where your work truly mattersReady to Join?We’re looking for someone who wants to be part of something exciting, contribute to real growth, and work with the latest tech in a collaborative and open culture.
