Management Accountant (Part-Time)Ipswich (Office Based)Up to £17 per hour
A well-respected accountancy firm based in Ipswich, is currently recruiting for a Part-Time Management Accountant. With over 25 years of experience supporting small and medium-sized businesses across Suffolk and surrounding areas, the firm is known for its personalised, hands-on service and practical business advice.
Role Responsibilities
* Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts.
* Assistance with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting.
* Collaboration with internal teams including bookkeeping and payroll.
* Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal control processes.
* Work from incomplete records, resolving discrepancies and reconciling accounts.
* Prepare and reconcile balance sheets.
* Maintain ledgers and post journals as needed.
Personal Requirements
* AAT qualified or part-qualified (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
* Proficiency with accounting software (e.g. Xero, Sage, QuickBooks).
* Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
* Self-motivated, with excellent time management and organisational abilities.
* Previous experience within a small accountancy practice in a similar role.
* Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
