A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK You must have care assistant experience This is a bank position therefore, you will be required to work days, nights and alternate weekends as and when required Shift patterns include 8am-2pm, 2pm-8pm and 8pm-8am, and you must be flexible to work these shifts A day in the life of a Care Assistant Companionship - Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement Personal care - supporting with a wash bath or shower and supporting the client with dressing and oral care. Medication -Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams. Meals – Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages. Domestic tasks - light cleaning tasks. Mobility - Supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility. Social activities - Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.
