Kennedys is successfully expanding, and as a result our Motor team is in an exciting growth period. We are now recruiting fee earners to handle litigated Credit Hire maters. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high quality caseload with a variety of clients.
About the Role
Kennedys is expanding its Credit Hire team and is seeking a Litigation Handler to handle pre-litigated and litigated Small Claims Track (SCT) and Fast Track (FTC) Credit Hire files. This position offers the chance to work with a wide variety of clients and develop essential litigation skills.
Team
You'll be joining a team that handles both pre- and post-litigation matters acting for leading motor insurers. Our offices in across the UK work collaboratively to deliver excellent results.
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintain timely communication with clients and third parties
2. Prepare court documents and correspondence
3. Negotiate claim settlements
4. Keep detailed case records and progress files efficiently
5. Handle your own caseload of Credit Hire files which will be a mix of SCT and FTC.
Client Base
6. Insurance companies
7. Claims handling organisations
8. Self-insured organisations
What We're Looking For
9. 2 years of relevant experience in Credit Hire .
10. Excellent organisational and time-management skills
11. Negotiation experience
12. Managing a caseload of pre litigated or SCT Credit Hire claims.
