This is a pivotal post, playing a key role in supporting student achievement and maintaining the integrity of the examination process in line with JCQ and awarding body regulations. You will work closely with the Assistant Headteacher (Raising Standards), SENCO, Heads of Department and external agencies to ensure compliance and the highest standards of exam administration. Main Responsibilities Coordinate all aspects of internal and public examinations, including entries, timetabling and access arrangements. Lead a team of invigilators, ensuring full training and efficient deployment. Oversee secure storage, distribution and dispatch of exam materials and scripts. Submit data, reports, and results to awarding bodies and SLT as required. Ensure full compliance with JCQ regulations and manage JCQ inspections. Provide support for post-results services, including reviews of marking and access to scripts. Liaise with the SENCO regarding special arrangements for eligible candidates. Person Specification We are looking for someone who: Has proven experience in exam administration and a good understanding of JCQ regulations. Is confident using MIS systems (preferably SIMS) and Microsoft Office tools. Can manage competing deadlines and maintain accuracy under pressure. Communicates clearly with a range of stakeholders including students, staff, and external organisations. Understands and upholds data protection and exam security protocols.
