This role provides opportunities to develop core child in need and child protection skills, working closely with children, young people, and families to create child-centered, co-produced plans that reflect their aspirations and promote sustainability.

This position requires an Enhanced Level DBS check.
The council holds a visa sponsorship license and can offer certificates of sponsorship to non-UK residents via the skilled-worker route, provided applicants are registered with Social Work England and require sponsorship. Note that sponsorship alone does not grant the right to work; a visa must be obtained.
Employees in redeployment will be considered first for vacancies. Re-appointment of employees who left under EVR or VS schemes is generally not permitted unless in exceptional circumstances.
