A little bit about the role:
You will be working with ODP / Theatre Nurse as part of our Theatre team and will be responsible for:
* To provide exemplary planned care for patients within the perioperative department and to assist in the management and organisation of care provision within the theatre Team in the operating department across a range of clinical specialities.
* Discuss, agree and explain the responsibilities for the assessment of patients including their needs and any associated risks.
* Plan, delivery and evaluate care to meet patient’s health and wellbeing, keeping within policies and procedures inline for the highest quality clinic outcomes
* Effective verbal and written commination with patients and colleagues, with customer service standards front of mind
* Working well independently and within a team
* Carry out elective day case surgeries
All applicants for the role of ODP / Theatre Nurse must have the following:
* Be NMC / HCPC registered- your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
* Eligibility to live and work in the UK
* At least 1 years UK experience working in theatre
* Acute hospital experienceandworking within theatre
* Experience working in a busy environment under minimal supervision
