The RoleLegal Assistant - ManchesterIn this role, you’ll be a key part of a collaborative legal team, assisting fee earners and ensuring client matters are handled with professionalism and care.Your responsibilities will include:Producing legal documents and correspondence via audio typing and word processingOpening, closing, and managing digital client filesPreparing court forms, pleadings, and outgoing documentationScheduling meetings, managing diaries, and organising appointmentsActing as a professional first point of contact for clients over the phone and in personSupporting other secretaries and admin staff when neededUpholding client confidentiality and contributing to the firm’s outstanding client care reputationWe’re keen to speak to candidates who can demonstrate:Previous experience as a Legal Secretary (Personal Injury or Civil Litigation preferred)Fast and accurate audio typing skills (65+ wpm ideal)Strong IT skills; familiarity with BigHand and Proclaim would be highly advantageousExcellent written English, grammar, and spellingA proactive, organised, and detail-oriented approachStrong client service skills and a professional, friendly mannerAbility to thrive in a fast-paced legal environmentWhy This Role?Flexible part-time hoursWell-established, friendly law firm with a great reputationSupportive team culture where your contribution is genuinely valuedModern systems and streamlined processes to make your job easierGreat location in South Manchester with excellent transport linksApply in the strictest of confidence online and or via telephone.
