The Recipe An opportunity has arisen to lead our fast-paced People Services team, based at our Head Office in Bolton, delivering a customer focused, administrative, transactional and first level HR advisory service, providing the best possible experience for our people and managers. This is an exciting role and youll be responsible for leading and overseeing a customer focused team, driving performance to deliver a best-in-class service to the business and play a key role in continuously improving our processes, documentation and policies. You will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and update of these policies ensuring compliance, governance and a consistent alignment between policy maintenance and frontline service delivery. With a data-driven mindset, you will have strong analytical skills to monitor, report and improve key performance KPIs. You will work closely with the HRIS and Analytics team to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of the service being provided You will have a proven track record of leading, motivating, coaching and developing a high performing team, with excellent communication skills and relationship builder. The People Services team serves the entire business, so relationships with all functions including our manufacturing and distribution operations, talent acquisition, payroll and site people teams are critical to ensure that the quality of the service provided to our people is as good as the quality of our products. Key Accountabilities and Measures People Services team leadership and development Ensuring a strong employee experience and embedding a customer-centric service culture Partnership with HRIS and digital enablement Continuous improvement mindset and embedding new ways of working Key performance indicators and service level reporting HR compliance, risk management, process and policies Collaboration and stakeholder management Essential Ingredients Previous experience in leading a professional HR/People services function Demonstrates exceptional customer focus and experience at the heart of everything you do Experience of a cloud based ESS/MSS integrated HR technology. Ideally a good working knowledge of Core HR systems, Onboarding, Ticketing and Document Management Systems. SAP Success Factors desirable but any major HR system experience. Able to understanding and execute a variety of different terms and conditions. Ideally have experience of working with Collective Agreements. Relentlessly provide process excellence and have a continuous improvement mindset to support our roadmap to digitising all people related processes. Analytical, able to interpret data and trends and take appropriate action Strong interest in compliance, governance and auditing to strive for optimum accuracy of HR data. Exceptional communicator Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage diverse populations including HR, leaders and employees Sound understanding of ER, employment law and people related legislation Proven leader and coach, able to set and achieve performance standards.
