Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a UAV Operator located in Aberdeen. The UAV Operator will be responsible for planning and executing UAV flights, ensuring the safe and effective operation of UAV systems. Daily tasks include conducting pre-flight inspections, flight planning, operating UAVs for various missions, post-flight analysis, and providing maintenance and troubleshooting of UAV systems. Additionally, the operator will be required to adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements during all UAV operations.
Qualifications
* Experience with UAV operations, including pre-flight inspections and flight planning
* Knowledge of UAV systems maintenance and troubleshooting
* Ability to conduct post-flight analysis and provide accurate data reports
* Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulatory requirements
* Proficiency in using UAV-related software and tools
* Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
* Capability to work independently and as part of a team
* Bachelor’s degree in aviation, engineering, or a related field is preferred
* Relevant UAV operator certifications and licenses are a plus
