Our client, a leading civil engineering company, is looking to hire a Junior QS.
Responsibilities
* Gain experience in each area of our business, including estimating, buying, engineering, quantity surveying, planning and project management.
* Assisting in preparing monthly management reports.
* Assisting in understanding clients requirements.
* Understanding and applying health and safety regulations.
* Allocating work to subcontractors.
* Preparing tender and contract documents.
* Identify, analyse and develop responses to commercial risks.
* Attending site inspections, visits, site meetings and tender interviews when required.
