ALN Teaching Assistant Salary: £85 per day Location: Milton Keynes Working Pattern: Monday to Friday (no weekends) Hours: 8:15am – 4:45pm Teaching Personnel is seeking an ALN Teaching Assistant to join one of our partner secondary schools in Milton Keynes. The school has a dedicated centre specialising in supporting autistic pupils and is committed to providing a safe, nurturing environment where students can thrive. Key Responsibilities Support and supervise pupils with additional learning needs, ensuring their safety and full access to learning activities Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues Promote inclusion, acceptance, and encourage pupils’ social interaction and participation in teacher-led activities Foster pupils’ self-esteem and independence Work collaboratively with teachers to implement strategies that help pupils achieve their learning goals Provide regular and detailed feedback to teachers on pupil progress Assist with supervision of pupils outside lesson times, including before school, after school, and during lunchtimes Ideal Candidate Experience supporting children with learning difficulties Skilled in managing and de-escalating challenging behaviour Confident, organised, and passionate about helping pupils reach their full potential Safer Recruitment Checks Applicants must be willing to undergo the following checks: Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (can be arranged via Teaching Personnel) Two most recent professional references (covering the last 24 months) Overseas Police Check if applicable (for candidates who have lived outside the UK for 6 months in the last 5 years) To apply, please attach your up-to-date CV.
