Make UK is seeking skilled electrical professionals to join their team in providing essential training to the next generation of engineers. As a further education provider, Make UK offers an engaging workplace where you will mentor and guide Manufacturing & Engineering apprentices.
The role involves developing and delivering engineering courses up to Level 3, including qualifications such as Pearson BTEC National Diplomas, EAL Vocational Awards, and City and Guilds qualifications.
Applications are welcomed from industry professionals interested in transitioning to education; training will be provided.
Responsibilities include:
1. Developing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments
2. Creating course materials including handouts and reference resources
3. Delivering practical training to apprentices and adults
4. Creating a motivational learning environment
5. Assessing learner progress and providing feedback and reports
Requirements and skills:
* Time-served apprentice, relevant City and Guilds (Part 3), or equivalent qualification
* Level 3 (or higher) teacher training qualification (desirable)
* A1 and V1 qualifications (desired)
* Industrial experience and current industry knowledge (desirable)
* Good presentation and communication skills
