You’ll work with a wide variety of sites — from homes and offices to schools, care homes, and healthcare facilities — delivering UKAS-aligned Legionella Risk Assessments that genuinely protect people. Delivering Legionella Risk Assessments across a wide range of building types Ensuring compliance with ACoP L8, HSG274 Part 2, BS 8580-1, and relevant guidance Identifying, assessing, and clearly explaining Legionella risks to clients Diagnosing issues within water and plumbing systems and recommending remedial actions Working closely with our internal Quality Assurance team to ensure reports meet regulatory standards Promoting best practice in Health & Safety at all sites This is a field-based role, so regular UK travel is part of the job — but you’ll be supported, equipped, and paid fairly for it. What do I need to be successful? Essential: Experience within the Water Hygiene industry and/or conducting Risk Assessments Strong working knowledge of Legionella risk identification and control Confidence communicating technical risks in a clear, client-focused way Good understanding of UK Health & Safety legislation Full UK driving licence Comfortable using tablets, smartphones, and digital reporting tools Desirable (but not essential): Approved Legionella Risk Assessor qualification (City & Guilds, BOHS, WMSoc, etc.) If you’re experienced but not certified, we can arrange this for you.
