Overview
I am Patricia Eagling, the Internal Recruiter for Home Instead, Welwyn & Hatfield office, and we are seeking new people who are interested in commencing a career working in Adult Care. We require all care professionals to have a UK driving licence and their own car because we are community-based, visiting clients in their own homes and travelling between clients daily. We also ferry clients to appointments, shopping and social events, making a car essential.
We have an accelerated onboarding programme to help you get started quickly. On a successful interview you will leave with a job offer and a set induction date. We do not have set shifts; we try to work with staff availability, but a requirement is that all staff work their agreed hours on alternate weekends, which is mandatory. This tends to work well for people with family commitments as it enables you to work without the stress of deadlines.
