Data Engineer/Analyst - Payments
Contract until the end of the year - Inside IR35 - rate negotiable
Leeds/Manchester - hybrid working - 2 days onsite
Banking sector - must have previous experience
The Role:
1. Develop recommendations and own delivery of initiatives to drive wallet spend
2. Develop recommendations and own delivery of initiatives to increase market share
3. Design and create a self-serve dashboard to track market share and relevant contributing factors
Skills & Experience:
4. Fluent data mining and manipulation capability
5. Commercial awareness experience
6. Reconciliation and data validation checks are conducted as standard practice using sensible available sources
7. Able to determine the key data points required to conduct analysis
8. Debit payments expertise (desired - current account experience in a UK FS as a minimum)
9. Knowledge of banking profitability and how to create a business case
10. Customer profiling / segmentation experience
11. Conversion analysis
12. Data visualisation and Business Reporting
13. Optimisation and automation as second nature
14. Design of marketing campaigns - target audience, proposition, testing structure, measurement with statistical significance
15. Confident speaker for presentation and stakeholder management
16. Able to deliver at pace
