An excellent opportunity has arisen within the Digital Service of NHS Golden Jubilee University National Hospital. As the Digital Engineering Manager, you will play a key technical role in managing and supporting the Digital Services within the Board, which includes the Golden Jubilee University National Hospital, Research Institute, Innovation Centre, and Conference Hotel.
The post holder will ensure the streamlined and effective operation of the Digital Service Desk and Customer Support Teams, working within the ITIL Service Management Framework and adhering to good IT Asset Management practices, in alignment with the NHS Golden Jubilee Digital Strategy.
You will plan, coordinate, and supervise activities within these teams and work closely with the Head of Digital Operations and other IT senior management to ensure the successful delivery of all Customer Support Services in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
The services provided by this role have a direct and immediate impact on patient care continuity at NHS Golden Jubilee.
Applicants must have a Degree in a relevant IT computing subject or demonstrate relevant experience in leading a technical team, along with detailed knowledge of IT Service Management methodologies. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to work well within a team.
