Job Summary
Post holder will be based with the inpatient respiratory medicine team at West Middlesex Hospital covering inpatient medical and surgical wards across the hospital. They will develop advanced assessment and intervention skills, support multi‑disciplinary working, provide leadership to the therapy team and clinical areas, and supervise junior members of staff and students. The post holder will be involved in service development, audit and research activities, and teaching and education. They will actively participate in the weekend rotas, required to work a minimum of one weekend shift in every four weekends. Some teams also provide extended hours including evening working.
Qualifications
Band 5 with broad clinical experience or Band 6. We seek competence at Band 5 level or equivalent junior level and will support development to a confident Band 6 therapist.
Working Conditions
Weekend shifts may cover multiple sites. Flexible working arrangements are welcomed and accommodated where possible. Employment is subject to a six‑month probationary period.
