Uniform Education is recruiting a reliable and proactive School Receptionist / Administrator to join a welcoming school in Bourne End. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with school office experience who is confident managing both reception duties and administrative tasks.
About the Role
* Act as the first point of contact for parents, staff, and visitors - in person, by phone, and via email
* Manage the school's reception desk efficiently and professionally
* Maintain accurate pupil data using SIMS or Arbor
* Assist with attendance monitoring, admissions, and school records
* Provide administrative support including filing, correspondence, and organising meetings
* Ensure compliance with safeguarding, data protection, and school policies
* Support the wider office team to ensure smooth day-to-day school operations
What We're Looking For
* Proven school receptionist or school office experience (essential)
* Strong working knowledge of SIMS and/or Arbor (essential)
* Excellent IT skills and attention to detail
* Strong communication, organisation, and multitasking abilities
* Professional, approachable, and welcoming manner
* Enhanced DBS on the update service
