Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Glass Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of our glass shop. This role combines strong administrative and coordination skills with the ability to manage workflows in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator and team leader, capable of ensuring all tasks are carried out smoothly, safely, and on time.
Responsibilities
* Plan and oversee daily operations in the glass shop, ensuring schedules, jobs, and resources are managed effectively.
* Supervise and support team members, fostering clear communication and collaboration across departments.
* Manage scheduling, appointments, and correspondence, maintaining professionalism in all communications.
* Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office.
* Assist with financial documentation and bookkeeping.
* Monitor and manage stock, supplies, and materials to ensure smooth operations.
* Handle phone and in person inquiries with excellent customer service providing information and assistance.
* Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and maintain safety standards.
Experience & Skills
* Previous supervisory or coordination experience, ideally within manufacturing or the glass industry (an advantage).
* Strong background in administrative roles with proven organisational skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Excellent communication skills with the confidence to lead and coordinate a team.
* Ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy and dynamic environment.
* Keen attention to detail and accuracy in both clerical and operational tasks.
