About the Role
Activities Champion at Cartref, part of Shaw Healthcare (Group) Ltd. The role focuses on providing stimulation and encouragement to residents through entertainment, activities, and community links to enhance the well‑being of service users.
Pay & Hours
Pay: £12.60 per hour
Hours: 25‑hour contract, Monday‑Friday, 10:30–15:30.
Responsibilities
* Formulate an activity profile for each individual service user in liaison with care staff.
* Ensure the safe and proper use of all equipment.
* Maintain accurate and legible records of service users’ activities.
* Liaise with the senior nurse on duty regarding outings.
* Research all prospective outings for access and toileting facilities.
* Liaise with senior care assistants regarding medical or nursing care information for service users.
