Job Duties:
* Provide support to students with special educational needs in a classroom setting
* Assist teachers in implementing individualised learning plans
* Help students with tasks such as reading, writing, and understanding instructions
* Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers
* Support students with emotional and behavioural difficulties
Required Qualifications:
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
* Experience working with children or young people
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team
Education:
Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Experience:
Previous experience working with children or young people
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of special educational needs and inclusive education practises
* Ability to follow instructions and work independently
* Good organisational skills
* Patience and empathy towards students
Preferred Qualifications:
* Additional qualifications in special education or related field
* First Aid certification
Working Conditions:
* Work in a classroom setting
* Potential exposure to challenging behaviour
* Regular interaction with students, teachers, and parents
* Full-time hours with occasional overtime required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
