Working hours: 40 hours per week WAYfinder South is a community-based outreach service supporting individuals and households aged 16 in Glasgow South who are at risk of, experiencing, or have experienced homelessness. The service offers flexible, trauma-informed support tailored to each persons needs, helping them achieve settled and sustainable housing. The service is designed to be accessible, responsive, and embedded within local communities, with a strong emphasis on prevention and seamless transitions between support levels. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, compassionate and motivated individual to take on this Support Worker role. Key Responsibilities: This role is central to achieving positive outcomes for our clients by delivering Outreach Support in their own homes. You will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of support, managing a caseload of clients with the overall goal of supporting them to access settled and sustainable housing. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate: Good working knowledge of developments in the homelessness sector including current legislation Role model the core values of the Salvation Army to ensure positive relationships across the service and an environment which fosters wellbeing Experience of lone working and outreach support Have excellent verbal and written communication skills Be solution focussed, with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
