The post holder will be part of a team providing financial management advice and support for the Trust, with responsibility for advising managers within the Clinical Directorates.
The successful candidate will adopt a modern, proactive, and dynamic approach to ensure the efficient and effective use of financial resources. They will provide financial performance management and business planning information related to activities and budgets, supporting the achievement of the Trust’s objectives and targets.

Main Responsibilities:
1. Lead the preparation and presentation of budgets across various areas within the Planned & Surgical Care Directorate.
2. Assist with the calculation of budgets during the annual budget setting process and the production of opening budgets.
3. Produce timely and accurate monthly budget reports.
4. Investigate and identify causes of budget variances.
5. Produce forecast information.
6. Engage proactively with budget holders and other Trust colleagues.
7. Provide advice and support for developing business cases.
