9 Month Maternity Cover - The Lake District

As an On-Trade Account Manager within our Independent Free-Trade (IFT), you will be focused on both account management to maximize existing relationships, whilst putting significant focus on winning and developing new accounts. A strong candidate will be an outstanding relationship builder, with the ability to sell from our premium portfolio.

As this position will be North of England, you will be covering the following postcodes:

* LA: LA6, LA7, LA8, LA9, LA10, LA11, LA12, LA13, LA14, LA15, LA16, LA17, LA18, LA19, LA20, LA21, LA22, LA23
* CA: CA1, CA2, CA3, CA4, CA5, CA6, CA7, CA8, CA9, CA10, CA11, CA12, CA13, CA14, CA15, CA16, CA17, CA18, CA19, CA20, CA21, CA22, CA23, CA24, CA25, CA26, CA27, CA28

As this position is field-based, a current UK Driving License is required.

The role:

Manage accounts, provide top‑nort customer service, and support wholesale partners to boost sales across our impressive portfolio.


Duties and Responsibilities:

* Focus on both account management for existing relationships and winning new accounts.
* Develop account plans to drive and protect growth across multiple operators.
* Achieve volume and revenue targets with wholesale partners.
* Build a strong network of working relationships across various stakeholders.
* Demonstrate commercial acumen and deliver KPI results.
* Lead key activations and ensure seamless execution of brand activities.
* Differentiate brands through innovative support that adds value to customers.
* Track account performance versus investment and present quarterly reviews for key accounts.


Who we’re looking for:

* Strong work ethic, persistence, and resilience, with a commitment to career development.
* Exceptional local market knowledge, contacts, and experience in the beer or similar industry.
* Demonstrates ownership, taking personal responsibility for results, and leading by example.
* Builds excellent relationships with customers, consumers, and internal/external stakeholders.
* Preference for previous sales experience.
* Effective communication skills and the ability to manage and cultivate relationships.
* Proficient in negotiation, and objection handling, and demonstrates commercial acumen.
* Confident in written and spoken English, with knowledge of commercial mathematics.
* Time and workload management skills to optimize effectiveness and efficiency
* On‑trade and premium brand experience are desirable.
