PRG is currently recruiting for a Snr Technical/Quality Engineer with experience working with Bentonite/Support Fluids
Working as part of our clients team, you will be working on a Diaphragm Wall project, based just outside of Inverness
Duties and responsibilities
* Supervision of design and drawings management
* Ensuring all site paperwork, records, and testing is recorded and completed correctly
* Development and support of Site Engineers and Supervisors
* Ensuring that all personnel are familiar with and have access to the quality policy, procedures and RAMS (Risk Assessment Method Statement) pertinent to their duties
* Ensuring that the KPI's set are integrated into working practices and reporting structures
* Ensuring all over-arching quality policy documents and related quality documentation are up-to-date and reviewed annually, or when there is significant change
* Verifying that approved procedures are adopted, and that non-conformances are reported and actioned
* Liaising with Project Managers, Supervisors, Planners, Subcontractors and Surveyors
Skills and experience
* Knowledge of Diaphragm Wall, piling/geotechnical works is highly desirable
* Experience in implementing and managing quality management systems
* Experience leading teams, managing projects, and overseeing operations to achieve organisational goals efficiently and effectively
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Persistence and determination
* Ability to lead and adapt to change, whilst minimising disruption to operations
* Flexible work approach and the ability to organise your time and workload
