GSL Education are seeking a Primary Teaching Assistant to join a school in the Killamarsh (S26) area. As a Primary TA, you will contribute to creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment, supporting both the academic and personal development of pupils. Responsibilities as a Primary Teaching Assistant: Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities across the primary curriculum. Support pupils individually or in small groups to improve learning outcomes and confidence. Promote positive behaviour, social skills, and emotional development. Help prepare teaching materials and maintain an organised classroom environment. Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers as appropriate. Support pupils with additional needs to ensure inclusion and engagement. Requirements for Primary Teaching Assistant: Previous experience working with primary-aged pupils is desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting learning. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
