About the MFL Department
German is taught alongside French, with strong uptake at GCSE. The department provides cultural enrichment, German club, film weeks, exchange links and immersion-based teaching strategies.
The Role
• Teach German across KS3–KS4.
• Support language events + cultural activities.
• Work with mentors to develop pedagogy and routines.
• Take part in curriculum development and planning.
Requirements
• QTS (or training) with German specialism.
• Strong spoken/written fluency + passion for linguistic development.
• Commitment to driving enthusiasm for modern languages.
