Psychology Graduate TA:

Location – Blackburn

Pay – £475-£550 per week, depending on experience

Start Date – 16/03/2026, or ASAP

Contract Type – Temp to Perm

Are you a recent Psychology graduate looking to pursue a career in education? We are currently working with a large SEN provision to recruit for Learning Support Assistants on a temp to perm basis.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils on a 1:1 basis, and in small groups to encourage academic and emotional development
  • Build rapport with students, parents and other staff members
  • Prepare and implement learning resources alongside the class teacher

    • Role Requirements:

  • A recent degree or masters in Psychology
  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
  • Previous experience supporting complex needs is desired but not essential

    • To Be Eligible You Must:

  • Hold the Right to Work in the UK
  • Have an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service (or be willing to apply)
  • Be able to provide two professional child-related references
