Role Summary
As a Stores Operative you will play a critical role in maintaining the smooth operation of the warehouse, ensuring accurate handling, storage, and distribution of parts and components in compliance with business need.
About The Role
Main Responsibilities:
· Support inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock management
· Manage parts and products, including all goods-in activities
· Conduct regular stock counts of materials, equipment, and supplies
· Identify and report discrepancies between physical stock and system records
· Assist the Purchasing Department with the receipt, control, and return of supplies
· Ensure all tools and equipment are signed out and returned in line with procedures
· Verify delivery notes to confirm they accurately reflect the products or services supplied
· Maintain accurate paperwork and update SAGE records for all goods received
· Monitor, track, and organise stock levels in line with workshop and site demand
· Identify and implement improvements and preventative actions where possible
· Liaise with Kanban suppliers to ensure stock levels and deliveries are accurate and up to date

* PC literate with competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
* Attention to detail.
* Strong interpersonal and Organisational skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Self-motivated, with a 'can-do' approach to work and willingness to learn and assist.
* Organised and disciplined in your planning and approach to work.
* Work well and confidently as part of a team in a busy environment.
