Duties as a Business and Economics Teacher: Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Business Studies and Economics at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5. Develop schemes of work that promote critical thinking, enterprise and a real-world understanding of business and economic principles. Prepare students for examinations, ensuring they are confident and well-equipped to succeed. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support. Contribute to the wider school community, including business-related clubs, trips or enterprise activities. Maintain up-to-date subject knowledge and participate in relevant professional development. Ideal Business and Economics Teacher: A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS or equivalent). A degree in Business, Economics or a related subject. Strong subject knowledge across both disciplines. Excellent classroom management and organisational skills as a Business and Economics Teacher. The ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities. A commitment to high standards of teaching, learning and student achievement. An understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
