Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Residential Childcare Tutor to join our dedicated team. You'll play a key role in supporting and inspiring learners undertaking Diplomas, Skills Bootcamps and Short Courses within the Health, Social Care, Teaching and Childcare sectors.

Responsibilities
* Manage a caseload of work-based apprentices and diploma learners, supporting them through to timely achievement of their qualifications.
* Plan, deliver and assess engaging classroom sessions and one-to-one learning, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning across all programmes.
* Deliver exceptional training across Health & Social Care, Teaching and Childcare qualifications.
* Carry out lesson planning, preparation and research to ensure effective delivery and learner engagement.
* Provide constructive feedback, information, advice and guidance to support learner progression.
* Ensure accurate and timely completion of learner records, e-portfolio updates and progress reviews.
* Embed Functional Skills delivery into all teaching and learning sessions.
* Take responsibility for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all learners.
* Promote Health & Safety, Equality & Diversity, British Values and the Prevent agenda throughout delivery.
* Participate in standardisation meetings, self-assessment and continuous professional development activities.
* Travel to learner and employer locations required.
Requirements
* Experience delivering Apps and/or Diplomas in Residential Childcare or a related vocational area.
* Recognised teaching or assessing qualification.
* Strong understanding of apprenticeship standards and work-based learning delivery.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to motivate and engage learners.
* A commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity, and continuous improvement.
Performance Expectations
* 85% achievement rate, within 10% timely completion.
* 95% timely achievement on Short Courses.
* 95% learner and employer satisfaction rate.
* 100% compliance with Safeguarding and Health & Safety standards.
