Core3 is pleased to be supporting an ambitious, international organisation to appoint a Financial Accounting Manager on a Fixed Term Contract. Based in their Bristol finance hub, this role sits within a centralised accounting function supporting multiple regions and complex operations at scale.

As Financial Accounting Manager in Bristol, you'll take on a visible leadership role within a high-performing team, helping to strengthen financial reporting and global accounting standards during a key period.
How you'll make an impact
As Financial Accounting Manager, you'll lead accurate, timely financial reporting across multiple regions and oversee the output of shared service and offshore teams.
* Lead month-end and period-end close, ensuring robust financial control and accurate reporting
* Review and approve complex journals and high-value accounting entries
* Oversee Record to Report and Asset to Record processes
* Act as a senior point of escalation for accounting issues across the business
* Manage performance, quality, and service delivery from outsourced and offshore teams
* Support audit processes and technical accounting queries under IFRS
* Partner with senior finance leaders on global accounting standards and strategy
* Drive process improvement, automation, and finance transformation initiatives
* Coach, develop, and motivate a team of qualified and part-qualified accountants
Why you're a great fit
You'll be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with experience in complex, multinational or shared service environments.
Essential:
* Strong technical accounting knowledge, including IFRS
* Experience leading accounting teams and managing performance
* Hands-on involvement in month-end close and financial reporting
* Confidence working with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or Workday
* Clear, professional communication with senior stakeholders
Desirable:
* Exposure to outsourced or offshore accounting models
* Experience supporting finance transformation or process redesign
What you'll get in return
