Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to help deliver our regulatory responsibilities as the Enforcement Authority for the Reservoirs Act 1975 in England. The Reservoirs Act helps to ensure the safe operation and management of dams. The role is part of the Compliance and Monitoring team within the Reservoir Regulation team.

Responsibilities
* Monitor compliance with the Reservoirs Act 1975 for the 2140 reservoirs in England.
* Manage day-to-day correspondence and record incoming documentation on our database to keep records accurate and up to date.
* Encourage compliance when reports or certificates are not received as expected.
* Be the first point of contact for reservoir owners and panel engineers.
* Provide information and advice on the requirements of the Act.
* Work as part of the Environmental Assessment and Reservoir Regulation department within the Flood & Coastal Risk Management Directorate.
* Travel and overnight stays may be required as the team is nationally dispersed across the country.

* This is a national role; you can be based at any Environment Agency office.
* Interviews will be conducted remotely on Microsoft Teams.
