About the role
University Commercial Services Plymouth Ltd (UCSPL), a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of Plymouth, aims to enrich the experiences of students, staff, and the wider community by providing sustainable, professional services including Early Years Education and Care, Retail Catering, Hospitality, and Events.
This position is covered by the Disqualification under the Childcare Act 2018 Regulations.
Freshlings Nursery is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All positions require enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance.
If you are a Level three qualified Early Years Educator (or equivalent) seeking to join a caring, supportive, and friendly team on a full-time basis, we welcome your application.
As Deputy Room Leader, you will support the team leader in leading, coaching, and motivating staff to ensure high-quality service and maintain our Outstanding OFSTED rating.
Key responsibilities include providing a safe, healthy, inclusive, and stimulating environment where children are respected and supported as individuals, promoting learning through play and exploration, and working in partnership with children and families, with safeguarding as everyone's responsibility.
This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week, permanent position. Due to the role's nature, remote working is not available.
This role requires an Enhanced DBS check and a Children’s Barred List check.
